Our founder

Harold Gerlitsch is an Austrian born philanthropist and American businessman. In order to coordinate his charitable giving, Harold established his first private foundation in 2010, Feed the Needy Fund, Inc based in Atlanta, GA. For many years, Harold is essential in providing resources to many organizations throughout the years.

Uplifting the spirit and well-being of the poorest of the poor, through gift-giving, nutritional and educational programs. I'm just trying to ease the lives of many! No one should go hungry.

This foundation will be supporting smaller capital non-profits throughout Georgia with finance, goods, and service donations. We can create media exposure for charity organizations and provide them with a positive experience.

There is still a need to be met in the community. Feed the Needy Fund purchases food products and does direct distribution to the community where it is needed.

We strive to empower participating non-profits and to assist them with their fight against hunger in their community.

About us

Our Founder Harold Gerlitsch and President Gloria Hunter believes we have to take care of those that are in need so our core business is a direct client food distribution program. The program goal is to provide timely services to any eligible non-profit organizations while preserving their pride and i.

We accept food and non-food donations from national and regional businesses, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and individuals. 

We maintain a central warehouse in Mabelton, GA for the storage and distribution of foods to participating organizations.

OUr Services

Direct food distribution programs through mostly Cobb and Fulton counties in Georgia, but not limited to those counties.

Grant opportunities for other non-profits to acquire funds to help with their operations. Attend grant-writing workshops and training classes, including networking and brainstorming opportunities.

We create and implement marketing strategies, assist with (silent) auctions and fundraisers
